The powders are used to mechanically separate just printed sheets
in a stockpile and to deliver enough air for them, the aim of which
is to dry ink or varnish.
STANDARD POWDERS of "R" and "S" TYPES
Produced on the grounds of edible species of potato starch and
little amounts of additives, of which none is harmful to human health.
Awarded PZH certificate. Occur in the form of white
fine powder of the particles up to 50 µm. They do not solve in water
in room temperature and make colloidal solution in water of the
temperature of 90 centigrade. Powders of graininess 15 and 25 µm
are used for printing on paper, while 50 µm powder is used for printing
on carton.

SOLUBLE POWDERS OF "V" TYPE
Produced on the grounds of pure sugar extract and a small percentage
of additives, of which none is harmful to human health. Awarded
PZH certificate. Fully solvable in water in room
temperature therefore they are perfect for washable printing; the
powder used for first coating is washed by second coating etc. They
occur in the form of white, fine powder of the particles to 40 µm.
In temperature above 165 centigrade they convert into caramel.
The usage of washable powders limits the layer of powder on gum
dressing and the may be used before varnishing or laminating. They
should not be used along with IR radiation emitters.
